Residing in Miami, Florida, Mr. Benson is a staff writer and journalist for the Armchair Anglers a nonprofit organization empowering people with disabilities to participate in light tackle angling. Mr. Benson also volunteers his time to give motivational speeches to the local school system.

Whenever he is not fishing, training for a marathon or working out, he enjoys playing electric and acoustic guitar, and spending time with his wife Yuli.

Wildlife committee to rule on hot issues Snook, permit and coyotes are among the hot topics at this week's Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission meeting in Pensacola Beach.
